KURARAY POVAL^® Polysizer^® PVA

Kuraray Poval^® is the brand name for the Polyvinyl Alcohols produced at the Kuraray Group's sites in Asia.
World's first industrial product Poval resin was industrialized as a raw material for synthetic fiber KURALON. It has a number of advantages: it is water soluble, easy to form into film, adhesive, emulsifiable, and oil and chemical resistant, among others. It is used in a wide range of applications, including as a paper processing agent, adhesive, and polymer stabilizer for vinyl chloride resins.

KURARAY EXCEVAL^TM Modified PVA

KURARAY has developed a water soluble polymer “EXCEVAL" and can also be heat-melted and molded, with the original technology accumulated in Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) and ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer. Among water soluble polymers, "EXCEVAL" has unique properties and will open new application fields where the existing resins can not be used.

KURARAY ISOBAM (ISO Butylene-Maleic Anhydride Co Polymer)

ISOBAM is the trade name of an alternative copolymer of isobutylene and maleic anhydride developed by KURARAY using their POVAL^® (Polyvinyl Alcohol) technology. ISOBAM is an alkali water soluble polymer with outstanding characteristics which have never been acquired by conventional water soluble polymers such as polyvinyl alcohol and cellulose derivatives.
